Vacancy: Arabic Teacher
Kassim Darwish Grammar School for Boys is an independent Islamic School in Manchester which teaches the national curriculum in a caring Islamic environment. The school has established a sound reputation for academic excellence.
The School seeks to appoint highly motivated and enthusiastic qualified teacher of Arabic Studies. The successful candidate will need to have a comprehensive knowledge in the teaching of this subject and deliver the in-house and Edexcel curriculum throughout the school from Y7 to Y11 to GCSE/AS and A Level Arabic. The successful candidate will also be experienced in using ICT to support teaching & learning and may also be expected to assist in the preparation and delivery of the Friday Prayers Sermon and all other religiously significant dates in Islamic Calendars i.e. Ramadan, Eid etc. Participation in extra-curricular activities will also be essential.
Salary and hours are negotiable in accordance to qualifications and experience.
